Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (SLP) – Finance is a two-year, rotation-based program for recent graduates with a finance internship and a related degree. It runs across the United States, with starts in New Britain, CT or Towson, MD.

You will plan, manage, and deliver on projects, work with functional groups, lead initiatives, monitor progress, and report KPI metrics to the executive team biannually. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related business field.
• Prior internships in Corporate Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics.
• Willingness to rotate every 6 months to new locations (US-based, with global opportunities).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels, from shop floor to senior management.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• 0-3 years of professional work experience, internship experience included.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and provide deliverables on projects as assigned.
• Work closely with functional business groups to ensure efficiency of solutions.
• Lead projects and ensure compliance with business requirements and practices.
• Monitor and report to management on project status and issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes.
• Lead Finance and Accounting projects to streamline processes and improve working capital turns.
• Gather and report KPIs globally and present to the Executive Team biannually.
