Nordson's Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) welcomes final-year finance/accounting students to a two-year, multi-rotation track, including an international assignment. Qualifications

  • Focus on candidates who have a passion for finance and show leadership through activities.
  • Must have aptitude to apply accounting and finance skills with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Full-time student completing bachelor's degree in finance or accounting between Dec 2026 and Jun 2027.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Strong motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the finance function.
  • Geographical flexibility is required during and after the program.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Job description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Program Design

The program prepares participants for roles of increasing responsibility through a combination of rotational assignments, formalized feedback, and mentoring. Program participants will have the opportunity to interact with senior finance leaders and participate in various key financial initiatives.

FLDP participants will complete a two-year rotational program consisting of approximately four rotational assignments, including a three-month international rotation. Rotational assignments are generally six months in duration; however, assignment lengths may be adjusted to accommodate the international experience and business requirements while ensuring a comprehensive two-year development program. Geographical flexibility is required during the program and upon completion of the program. Relocation assistance is provided.

The FLDP program affords participants an outstanding opportunity to produce results, gain working knowledge of key finance functions, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network throughout the 2-year program. Before completing the program, participants will work with the administrator to identify positions to interview across the finance organization.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Focus on candidates who have a passion for everything finance and demonstrate leadership skills through experience, internships, and extracurricular activities.
  • Must have an aptitude to apply accounting and finance skills and should have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence and integrity.
  • Full-time student completing bachelor's degree in finance or accounting between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in the finance function
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Related work or internship experience
  • Demonstrates exceptional financial business partnering with a strong presence and outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement.
  • Results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability.
  • Geographical flexibility is required during and upon program completion.
  • To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
