Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business discipline required.
At least four years of progressively responsible accounting/financial management experience.
CPA or MBA preferred; leadership and supervisory experience valued.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Oversee preparation of financial statements, state/system reports, and audit schedules.
Ensure GAAP, GASB, and state standards compliance and internal controls.
Develop financial policies, internal controls, and process improvements.
Manage cost allocations and financial data for audits.
Supervise accounting staff and mentor team members.
Partner with leadership on budget and strategic finance initiatives.
Ensure IRS reporting compliance (W‑2s, 1099s) and regulatory filings.
Oversee GL activities including restricted, construction, and investments.
