Job summary

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Finance to partner with operations, ownership representatives, and boards to shape financial decisions in a dynamic resort environment.

You will lead the monthly close, oversee Spa and Food & Beverage accounting, HOA accounting, and present budgets, forecasts, and results to leadership teams and boards. Hospitality finance background and supervisory experience are key.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience in hospitality, including month-end close.
• Financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Experience supervising accounting staff and collaborating with leaders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly accounting close with journal entries and reporting.
• Oversee Spa and F&B accounting, including revenue, labor, costs, and controls.
• Provide HOA and Master Association accounting oversight with budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze results and present insights to leadership and boards.
• Prepare and present financial results, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
• Supervise Accounting Manager and ensure deadlines are met.
