Job summary

The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO, is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a premier resort property. You will partner with operational leaders, HOA boards, and ownership representatives to drive informed financial decisions and strategic planning.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and offers a full-time, year-round schedule with a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Supervisory or management experience with coaching and accountability.
• Experience with HOA or association accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong communication, presentation skills, integrity and discretion in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly accounting close with journal entries, reconciliations, schedules, and reports.
• Lead oversight for Spa and F&B accounting and related controls.
• Oversee HOA and Master Association budgeting, forecasts, and board reporting.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide insights to leadership.
• Prepare and present financial results, budgets, forecasts to leadership and boards.
• Supervise Accounting Manager and ensure deadlines and standards are met.
