Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to lead accounting operations, safeguard assets, and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will assist the Director of Finance, recruit talent, and drive profitability while maintaining guest service standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Admin, 5+ years in ledger accounting with leadership, and hospitality experience, with flexibility for evenings/weekends and occasional travel to club

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Minimum of five years’ general ledger accounting experience with leadership roles.
• Prior hospitality experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial forecasting/budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Assist Director of Finance with treasury controls and budgeting models.
• Recruit and develop staff; monitor performance goals.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules; ensure billing/credit standards.
• Review tax returns for compliance; manage routine audits.
