Job summary

Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort is seeking an Associate Director of Finance to assist in directing the hotel’s financial activities, safeguarding assets, and preparing reports compliant with GAAP and HEI standards.

The role requires accounting expertise, hospitality finance experience, and strong communication and leadership skills to oversee A/R, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliations, while supporting month-end close processes.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting required.
• One year experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.
• Analytical approach with high regard for detail and accuracy.
• Strong administrative and managerial skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing financial activities and preparing statements.
• Monitor and control departmental expenditures within budget and staffing plans.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable activities and cash flow management.
• Support balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness.
