BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to lead accounting operations, safeguard assets, and deliver accurate financial reporting. You will assist the Director of Finance, recruit talent, and drive profitability while maintaining guest service standards.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Admin, 5+ years in ledger accounting with leadership, and hospitality experience, with flexibility for evenings/weekends and occasional travel to club

$105,000-$110,000 Annual
New management full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following the first day of full-time employment.
Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”) in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.
Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.
All team members 21 years and older are eligible to participate in the J.F. Shea Co., Inc. 401(k) plan after completion of 30 days of service.
The Assistant Director of Finance has key leadership responsibility in overseeing accounting and financial activities to include, but not limited to, safeguarding of assets and preparation of financial reports, and staff recruitment and development. The position assists the Director of Finance in all financial operations, while delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
This position operates in a professional indoor office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, copy and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear, sit or stand for extended periods of time, walk or be able to move around the office space, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
