Job summary

Warp—a biotech company leveraging AI, robotics, and life sciences to accelerate discovery—seeks a Head of Finance to build the financial and operating foundation for its next growth phase. You will own the books, close processes, FP&A, treasury, and strategic finance, while enabling automation and scalable controls across the organization.

You will partner with founders on capital allocation, headcount planning, and major investments, shaping a data-driven narrative for investors and the board.

Qualifications

• Track record of building or leading finance within a fast-growing, venture-backed company.
• Hands-on accounting expertise, including owning the books and completing a high-quality monthly close.
• Experience building integrated, driver-based financial models and translating strategy into an operating plan.
• Direct experience with institutional fundraising, board reporting, and investor diligence.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Warp’s long-range financial model, connecting hiring, capacity, and operating expenses to milestones and runway.
• Own FP&A, including planning, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis, and budget-vs-actual reporting.
• Own the monthly close end-to-end: general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, financial statements, accounts payable, payroll coordination, tax, and audit readiness.
