Job summary

Namespace Labs is seeking a Finance Lead to own and build out the finance function as we scale. This hands-on role connects day-to-day financial operations with a clear view of where we’re going.

You’ll own budgeting, forecasting, cash and runway planning, and financial reporting, while helping us understand the economics behind infrastructure investments and business. You will work with the leadership team on hardware investments, leasing, unit economics, and planning ahead, coordinating

Qualifications

• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment, ideally helping build or scale a finance function.
• Experience with hardware, infrastructure, or lease management.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, unit economics, and margin analysis.
• Experience managing accountants and external finance partners.
• Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash and runway planning.
• Build and maintain financial models showing company performance and scenarios.
• Own financial reporting and provide leadership with visibility into performance and spend.
• Develop understanding of cost structure, unit economics, and margins.
• Model economics of hardware and infrastructure investments (purchasing, financing, leasing).
• Partner with leadership on major financial and investment decisions.
• Coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, and other finance partners across countries.
• Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales.
