Reinforced Learning is seeking a senior finance professional to lead financial operations for a fast-growing company in New York. You will own budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting with the founders, as well as billing, collections and vendor payments.

You will consolidate contributor payments, manage expense policy, and steward accounting, tax and audit relationships, building a robust finance stack and controls as the company scales.

Qualificações

• Five+ years in finance, accounting or business operations at an early-stage company.
• Experience closing books and building financial models.
• Ability to own end-to-end processes and communicate clearly with non-finance colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Run financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting with founders.
• Handle customer billing, collections and vendor payments.
• Manage contributor payments, expense policy and reporting.
• Oversee accounting, tax and audit relationships.

The role

You’ll run the company’s financial operations and the internal processes around them: planning, billing, contributor payments in aggregate, vendors, reporting, and the controls that keep a fast-growing company honest.

What you’ll own

• Budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting with the founders.

• Contributor payment totals, vendor payments and expense policy.
• Accounting, tax and audit relationships.
• The finance stack and the controls, built as the company grows.

What you bring

• Five or more years in finance, accounting or business operations, including time at an early-stage company.
• You’ve closed books and built models and can do both again.
• Rigorous, and comfortable owning processes end to end.
• Clear communication with colleagues outside finance.

Helpful, not required

• CPA or equivalent.
• Marketplace or contractor-heavy business models.
