Job summary

AbbVie in Illinois is seeking a Finance Lead, IMCO Oncology Expense Management to provide financial support to the Oncology business within IMCO and collaborate across functions on LBEs, planning and updates. You will partner with team members to monitor results versus forecast, explain variances, and implement improvements while preparing monthly closings and performance reviews.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with BPC/SAP/Excel and effective communication to guide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA a plus.
• 5+ years of finance/accounting, analytics, forecasting and/or FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in BPC, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Leads Annual Plan, LRP and LBEs with headcount and project expense projections.
• Prepares schedules and analyses for planning cycles for management review.
• Presents monthly closing process and explains variances to business teams.
• Provides insights into drivers of financial performance and recommendations.
• Leads monthly financial reviews with leadership and monitors spend.
• Approver for purchase orders and invoices; leads ad hoc analyses.
