Job summary

Partiful, based in New York, NY, seeks its first in-house finance leader to own the full finance function from modeling to operational controls. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, reporting to leadership, and partnering with every team to enable scalable growth.

The position is hybrid, NY-based, and focuses on building systems, budgets, and KPIs to drive fast, confident decisions. Experience in PE/IB foundations and startups is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in finance with PE/IB foundation and at least 2 years at a startup.
• Own full scope including fundraising scenarios and Ramp card audits in the same week.
• Strong financial modeling and analytics; own all key metrics.
• Experience underwriting deals and building deal structures.
• Obsess over data accuracy and maintain high attention to detail.
• AI-native approach with bias toward creating agents to streamline workflows.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own Partiful's financial model, maintain it, and make it the leadership's decision tool.
• Build scenario models for hiring, fundraising, expansion, and monetization.
• Own pricing strategies and unit economics for monetization efforts.
• Manage financial aspects of ticketing deals, model discounts, and ROI.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax firms for clean, timely close.
• Design finance controls, policies, and end-to-end processes.
• Drive cost reductions with actionable initiatives across the business.
• Build and own budgeting infrastructure with department targets and Ramp setup.
• Execute day-to-day ops: AP/AR, reporting, cash management, cap table admin.
