Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Director, IT Business Partner - Finance to act as a strategic partner and primary relationship manager between IT and the Finance division. You will lead the technology portfolio for the domain, including Workday, drive a seamless tech experience, and partner with executives to surface needs and plan solutions.

You will mentor the team, participate in governance, manage vendors, and track benefits realization, ensuring data flows and integrations meet business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role supporting business functions with technology management, preferably in a complex, integrated healthcare delivery system.
• Progressive experience managing enterprise system design (e.g., Workday or other core enterprise platforms) and support in a complex organization.
• Experience managing a portfolio of ancillary applications and the integrations between them.
• Deep understanding of Core Accounting/Finance/Supply Chain
• Demonstrated experience working with executive leaders to understand needs, coordinate responses, and communicate effectively across business and technology teams.
• Strong customer service mindset, passion for service excellence, and a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate information to IT team members and customers, and appropriately upscale issues while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute a technology strategy and roadmap to support business objectives.
• Lead the application/technology team to deliver outstanding customer service; liaison between business and IT leadership.
• Manage portfolio of ancillary applications and develop bridge solutions with core platforms (e.g., Workday).
• Oversee administration, enhancement, and optimization of core platforms and integration points.
• Guide partners and end-users in analyzing processes and leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
• Ensure SLAs and proactive issue resolution for domain applications; manage escalations.
• Mentor the technology team and build domain-specific knowledge.
• Participate in Governance committees and advocate for strategic priorities.
• Manage vendor relationships and lifecycle of applications within the portfolio.
• Define, track, and report benefits realization of technology projects.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and domain-specific needs.
