Job summary

GuideStone is offering a Summer Intern position with GuideStone Capital Management to support the Public Markets team. You will assist with research on external investment managers, develop lightweight pre-trade tools in Excel/Python/R, and organize data for efficient retrieval using Copilot and other AI tools.

You will participate in meetings and due diligence, contribute to research on peers and benchmarks, and complete a summer project to present to the investments team.

Qualifications

• Incoming Junior or Senior pursuing Finance, Economics, Data Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience with Python or R in coursework or projects.
• Interest in using AI tools to research, summarize and automate routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist analysts with research and ongoing monitoring of external investment managers across asset classes.
• Help develop and test simple pre-trade tools and templates (Excel, Python or R).
• Extract and organize manager, product and peer group data from data providers.
• Help structure and tag research files for Copilot/search.
• Attend meetings and draft notes and summaries.
• Assist with peer group, benchmark and asset class research.
• Complete a summer project and present findings to the investments team.
