Job summary

Qualifications

Position Overview

We're looking for a motivated, ambitious Global Accounts Payable Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience across many aspects of the accounts payable department, including (but not limited to) bill coding, vendor management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow planning/analysis, all with guidance from our experienced A/P team. You'll gain broad exposure to essential Accounts Payable functions while contributing to meaningful projects in a fast-paced environment.

Potential Responsibilities

• Support the finance team in day-to-day accounts payable operations
• Help input invoices and bills using cutting edge, AI-powered workflows
• Assist with vendor payments, payment inquiries and expense tracking
• Review and organize financial documents for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data
• Assist in addressing contractor pay questions and routing them to the appropriate operations group when necessary
• Update or enhance documentation for standard operating procedures for recurring accounts payable tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations and special projects

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
• Active involvement in campus, community, or other volunteer activities and/or organizations preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Interest in learning and contributing to a variety of [Department] functions
• Prior internship or office experience a plus, but not required
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status
