Job summary

Akamai Cambridge HQ is seeking a Finance Intern to join our 12-week summer program, designed to prepare you for the AFDP after graduation. You will work with mentors and senior leaders across finance to learn forecasting, reporting and analytics in a fast-paced tech environment.

As an intern you will assist with monthly, quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting, budgeting, forecasts, and resource planning, and develop presentations for senior Finance management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and outlooks, and resource planning analysis.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement improvements with the team.
• Generate presentations for senior Finance management, including a final showcase presentation.
• Perform industry analyses to develop operational best practices and update internal documentation.
