BorgWarner is seeking a Finance Intern to support the PowerDrive Systems finance team in Auburn Hills, MI. The role focuses on financial analysis, reporting, and process automation using AI tools to improve insights and efficiency in month-end close, forecasting, dashboards, and cost analyses.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, data analysis abilities, and an interest in AI‑assisted analytics. Collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering is expected.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AI tools to automate data preparation and analysis, and generate insights.
• Support enhancement of Power BI dashboards and analytical templates.
• Assist month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Reconcile GL balances in SAP and OneStream; support intercompany confirmations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data-driven initiatives.
