Job summary

Lee Johnson Auto Family in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Finance and Insurance Manager to lead financing, warranties, and insurance offerings for customers. You will coordinate with lenders, ensure compliant documentation, and drive profitability through high-quality customer experience.

The role requires strong math, communication skills, and industry knowledge; a track record as a dealership F&I manager is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills are required.
• Ability to communicate with customers and employees; read manuals, operating and maintenance instructions; and write financial/marketing reports.
• Professional and courteous attitude, appearance, and grooming.
• Uphold high ethical standards.
• Understand and comply with current and future government regulations affecting new- and used-vehicle and finance departments.
• Experience as a finance or sales manager at a dealership setting.

Responsibilities

• Explain aftermarket products and extended warranties to customers.
• Monitor all contracts in transit to ensure funding is received completely and in a timely manner.
• Nurture relationships with multiple finance sources and pursue competitive programs and interest rates.
• Secure finance approval by accurately preparing finance/lease transactions.
• Prepare/file all government and dealer vehicle transaction reports in a timely manner.
• Verify documents contain valid title, lien, and tax information.
• Receive all applications for credit.
• Participate in training to improve performance of the team.
• Explain dealership and manufacturer service policies to customers.
• Regularly review financing, extended service and insurance programs with sales team.
• Generate finance penetration reports and coordinate with sales to develop finance forecasts.
• Verify insurance and finance fees are collected.
• Generate EOM commission reports for each salesperson and forward to payroll.
• Maintain ample supply of contracts and forms for vehicle transactions.
• Train a designated employee to perform these duties in the manager's absence.
