Job summary

McGavock Auto Group in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the dealership's finance operations and optimize the finance process. This role supports the sales team and drives profitability through effective F&I practices.

Ideal candidates will have automotive experience, excellent communication, and a strong customer-service focus, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior automotive experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Self-motivation and integrity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department's profitability and product penetration.
• Track portfolio with lenders.
• Review and inspect the flow of the department's paperwork daily to ensure timely turnaround on all deals.
• Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals.
• Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service.
• Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods.
• Set and maintain finance department work schedule.
