Job summary

The Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at UCLA seeks a Finance and Operations Coordinator to oversee fund management, budgeting, and accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounting and budgeting processes, techniques, systems and procedures (Required).

• Knowledge of internal controls and budgeting expenditures analysis (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provide fund management for permanent operating funds, gift funds and external funding.
• Handle accounting processes via purchase orders, one-time payments, grants, and travel reimbursements.
• Support budget development, monitor expenditures, and manage vendor agreements.
• Assist with payroll, personnel and student services administration.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with projections and detailed audit-ready files.
• Provide back-up to the Business and Operations Analyst; ensure UCLA policies are followed.
