Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Business Analyst I to support Finance operations within the Corporate Controller Group and Global Shared Services. You will translate business needs into actionable insights, strengthen governance, and help teams resolve issues while improving processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, IT, Transformation, and business leaders to deliver accurate reporting and scalable, technology-driven finance operations. Salary ranges are provided for U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the country where the role is based.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple activities and track issues to closure.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including identifying trends across sources and translating requirements into insights.

Responsibilities

• Support governance processes across Finance operations, ensuring activities are tracked, documented, and completed on schedule.
• Maintain the issue log from intake through resolution, coordinate follow-ups and action items, and escalate aging items.
• Assist with root cause analysis by gathering information, documenting findings, and capturing corrective and preventive actions.
• Administer the intake and evaluation process for AI and non-AI automation opportunities, including logging submissions and tracking each through review.
• Prepare dashboards, status trackers, meeting summaries, and reports, while keeping governance processes and control documents current.
