You will handle financial transactions, budgeting, account reconciliations, procurement, revenue tracking, and financial reporting within UVA Health CE. The role reports to the Senior Finance Generalist and requires collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Central University offices.
UVA Health Continuing Education (UVA Health CE) is a jointly accredited provider of Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE),representinga collaborative partnership between the UVA School of Medicine and the UVA School of Nursing. This positionresideswithin the School of Medicine andreports to the Senior Finance Generalist
UVA Health CE supports the continuing professional development of the entire healthcare team by planning and accrediting over 250 CE activities annually. These activities are designed to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes through high-quality, evidence-based education. As a Joint Accreditation provider, UVA Health CEis authorized toaward continuing education credits to physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers, dentists, optometrists, dietitians, and athletic trainers. UVA Health CE collaborates with regional health systems, professional societies, and other organizations to deliver impactful educational experiences that promote interprofessional collaboration and excellence in clinical practice.
The Office of Continuing Medical Education isseekinga detail-oriented and customer-focused Finance Generalist to provide fiscal, accounting, and administrative support for a dynamic and revenue-generating continuing education enterprise. Responsibilities include financial transaction processing, budget monitoring, account reconciliations, procurement, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.
The anticipated hiring range is $55,000 - $63,000 annually, commensurate with experience and subject to internal equity, market review, job profile alignment, and applicable approvals.
This position will remain open until filled. This is an exempt level, benefited position. The University will perform background checks on all hires (if required) prior to employment. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant professional experience required.
