Job Family Definition:

Researches, designs, develops, configures, integrates, tests and maintains existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions including databases through integration of technical and business requirements. Applications and infrastructure solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, coding of modifications or new program, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, infrastructure, and information systems including database management systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Provides required documentation and participates in architecture reviews to ensure that the solutions comply with standards and use approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Management Level Definition:

Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives. May provide team leadership and mentoring to others.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FICO modules to meet business needs
  • Work with Sr. Solution Architect to design, and optimize financial business processes within SAP FICO, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as SOX.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Configure SAP FICO components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting, etc.
  • Manage system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure seamless operations.
  • Support integration of SAP FICO with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP) and external systems (SAP B4, Third Party apps)
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to configuration, processes, testing and controls.
  • Provide user training, support, and guidance on SAP FICO functionalities.
  • Stay current with SAP updates, industry trends, and regulatory changes to recommend improvements.
  • Assist in audit and compliance activities related to financial systems.
  • Drive innovation by designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions
  • Lead efforts to incorporate new SAP functionalities and industry best practices
Education and Experience Required:
  • Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Extensive experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling implementations with a deep understanding of financial compliance frameworks such as SOX
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, integrated SAP solutions at an enterprise level
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling processes, and relevant compliance standards
  • Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills. Strong business experience in multiple business sub-domains. Strong relationship management skills. Excellent project management and process development skills
