Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a Finance Domain Lead to drive the Data & Analytics Program on-site, coordinating with business owners, IT, and delivery teams. You will lead across AP, inventory, COGS, cash management, treasury and reconciliations, owning KPI definitions and sign-offs.

You will work with Oracle EBS Finance and data warehouse teams to map business requirements to data models and Redshift layers, ensuring accurate and validated financial insights.

Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on Finance & Accounting domain knowledge across AP, inventory, COGS/cost accounting, Cash Management, Cash Applications, Treasury and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, KPI definitions, reconciliations, accounting periods, control totals and business validation of finance data.
  • Experience leading finance/data discovery workshops and converting business reporting needs into structured functional and data requirements.
  • Experience owning requirements artifacts, KPI/KSM catalogs, business glossaries, sign-off processes and stakeholder decisions.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS Finance data and processes; ability to collaborate with an Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant on source and calculation validation.
  • Experience working with data modelling, data warehouse or analytics delivery teams, bridging Finance stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Understanding of data reconciliation, UAT and validation of curated/semantic data layers against source-system and expected business values.
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, written communication and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a parallel, multi-work stream delivery model and manage competing priorities and sign-off dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary onsite business-facing lead for the engagement, coordinating closely with business owners, IT and the delivery team.
  • Provide Finance & Accounting domain leadership across Accounts Payable, inventory accounting, COGS/cost accounting, Cash Management, Cash Applications, Treasury and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Own the Key Success Metrics (KSM) process for each subject area, including requirement clarification, metric definition, business logic, expected values, rolling reviews, change tracking and business sign-off.
  • Lead finance-focused discovery workshops and revalidation sessions, translating dashboard wireframes and business logic into measures, dimensions, grain, date basis and source requirements.
  • Work closely with the Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to validate KPI and calculation logic against Oracle EBS during discovery.
  • Partner with Data Modelers and Data Engineers to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in conceptual, logical and physical data models, source-to-target mappings and the curated Redshift layer.
  • Drive resolution of business definition gaps, source-data questions, offline/manual source dispositions and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Ensure finance stakeholders can validate the data layer through clear KPI definitions, business glossary content and UAT validation packs.
  • Coordinate business sign-offs, decisions and escalations with the Project Manager, while supporting governance, RAID management and change control.
  • Support UAT by helping business owners understand expected KPI results, reconciliation outcomes and functional defects; facilitate timely resolution of finance-domain issues.
  • Provide finance walkthroughs at the close of each subject area and support knowledge transfer and handover to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong onsite stakeholder engagement and ensure business, functional and technical teams remain aligned across concurrent delivery waves.

Required Experience and Skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of overall experience with significant experience in Finance transformation, Finance analytics, ERP-enabled reporting or enterprise data programs.
  • Prior experience in an Engagement Lead, Finance Domain Lead, Finance SME, Business Lead or similar client-facing role.
  • Oracle EBS Finance exposure across AP, Inventory, Costing, WIP, Cash Management and/or General Ledger.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems such as AWS, Amazon Redshift and Power BI is beneficial.
  • Experience with data quality, reconciliation controls, historical data/backfill, dimensional modelling and semantic-layer initiatives is preferred.
