Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking a senior finance domain expert to join a leading AI lab’s GenAI team. You will shape finance instruction specs, write golden solutions, and build benchmarks to ensure robust finance reasoning in frontier models.

Location is hybrid in the Bay Area, California; on-site presence is required several days per week, with relocation at your expense if needed. This is a full-time W-2 engagement through Cincinnatus LLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive, dedicated professional finance experience at a recognized institution.
• Genuine specialization in at least one core finance discipline.
• Senior IC or leadership level with real ownership of analysis and decisions.
• Advanced degree or recognized professional credential (CFA/CPA/FRM).
• Hands-on working use of large language models in professional work.
• Able to commit reliably to 40 hours per week for 6 months.
• Living in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area, CA for on-site work.
• Excellent written communication and precise feedback.

Responsibilities

• Data QA and reviews: Vet the quality of finance knowledge work tasks and model outputs.
• Instruction specs and golden datasets: Write high-quality instructions and golden solutions.
• Benchmarks and domain depth: Design finance tasks and evaluation sets with domain depth.
• Calibration: Align standards with client researchers and translate tacit judgment into explicit criteria.
