Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is staffing a senior finance domain expert to join a leading AI lab's GenAI team in the Bay Area. You will review finance knowledge work quality, craft instruction specs, and build benchmarks that reflect real financial work in practice.

You will work full-time on-site with client teams, providing rigorous analysis, precise feedback, and clear, teachable criteria for model evaluation. Relocation to the Bay Area is expected if needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of substantive, dedicated professional finance experience at a recognized institution.
• Genuine specialization in at least one core finance discipline (FP&A, investment banking, asset management, PE/credit, risk, treasury, or accounting).
• Senior IC or leadership level with ownership of analysis and decisions.
• Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD) or professional credential (CFA/CPA/FRM).
• Hands-on working use of large language models in professional work.

Responsibilities

• Vet the quality of finance knowledge work tasks and model outputs.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions for financial problems.
• Define new finance tasks and reflect how work is actually done in practice.
• Design finance-focused benchmarks and evaluation sets.
