Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership across the organization, drive forecasting, cost controls, and profitability initiatives. This role partners with the VP FP&A and functional leaders to guide the SOAR planning process and shareholder value creation.

The ideal candidate has extensive finance leadership experience, advanced degree preferred, and a track record of shaping business plans, budgeting, and financial modeling across large operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• MBA is preferred.
• 8 years of work experience in finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conducts financial planning and forecasting for the functional area.
• Conducts Pro-Forma Financial Analysis.
• Develops and executes cost controls.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities to drive profitability and develops improvement strategies.
• Responsible for appropriate selection, performance appraisals, termination and professional development of assigned staff.
