Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Director of Finance to provide financial leadership, direction and analysis to the functional management team, drive metrics, control costs, and partner with the Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis to achieve goals and shareholder value.

This role leads the SOAR process, overseeing planning, forecasting, cost controls, and staff development across the function. Travel 5%-20% is typical, with a strong emphasis on strategic financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis.
• 8 years of work experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Conducts financial planning and forecasting for the functional area.
• Conducts Pro-Forma Financial Analysis.
• Develops and executes cost controls.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities to drive profitability.
• Responsible for appropriate selection, performance appraisals, termination and professional development of assigned staff.
