The Home Depot is seeking a Finance Project Leader to drive strategic projects that support merchandising objectives and business growth. You will evaluate financial performance, forecast, identify opportunities and risks, and translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate finance or retail finance.
• Strong Excel, Access, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans for controlling project scope, schedule and cost and monitors execution to ensure adherence to the plan.
• Creates documentation to explain changes or potential changes to the baseline and ensures changes are implemented.
• Develops an effective plan for communicating project information to team and stakeholders with status reports and scorecards.
• Leads the definition of project risks and the required mitigation approaches and monitors for risk.
• Captures key lessons learned at project completion and applies them to future projects.
• Ensures a good working environment with clear roles and inclusive culture for the project team.
