Great West, an Old Republic Company, is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the accounting and financial reporting function. This role partners with executive leadership to translate financial data into actionable insights and strategic guidance.

You will oversee GAAP compliance, internal controls, and regulatory filings, while mentoring a high-performing finance team. Strong modeling and analytics capabilities are essential to drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls; SOX experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a collaborative accounting and financial reporting team.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Serve as primary liaison for external audits and financial reporting matters.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
• Leverage financial modeling and advanced analytical tools to evaluate business performance.
