Job summary

SALVATION ARMY CORP in Raleigh, NC seeks a senior financial leader to direct the Finance Department, manage accounting operations, and produce timely financial reports and forecasts. You will steer budgeting, auditing, and financial controls to support organizational goals.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in financial roles including nonprofit/government contexts, and supervisory experience; CPA is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five years of financial and accounting experience, with non-profit/government exposure.
• Five years of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership responsibilities.
• CPA preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• One or more financial certifications or ability to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise the finance department.
• Oversee accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, and budgeting.
• Prepare financial reports and projections for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to guide operational decisions and forecasts.
• Support Area Commanders and Directors in budgeting and allocations.
