Job summary

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all hotel financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This role reports to the General Manager and aligns with the property’s business strategy to safeguard assets and drive profitability.

Responsibilities include signing off on financial statements, producing forecasts, developing annual budgets, and leading audits. Strong leadership and proficiency with Profit Sword and OPERA Cloud are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 8+ years in finance or accounting.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced hospitality environment (hotel or F&B).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Profit Sword and ERP/Accounting platforms.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and OPERA Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on financial statements, forecasts, cash flows and balance sheets.
• Review balance sheet accounts with adequate support and documentation.
• Ensure P&L accuracy and timely close through validated workflows.
• Produce accurate forecasts to guide operations’ decisions.
• Create the annual operating budget for the property.
• Provide analytical support during budget reviews for cost savings.
• Manage working capital and cash flow per brand SOPs and owner needs.
• Ensure compliance with USALI, GAAP and company policies.
• Lead audits and coordinate responses with regulators as needed.
• Coach and mentor finance team; recruit future leaders.
• Collaborate with regional finance leaders to share best practices.
