Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking a Director of Finance for the New York property to lead all financial strategy, safeguarding assets and maximizing profitability in partnership with ownership and corporate finance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and ensuring US GAAP/USALI compliance while driving performance across revenue and cost control. A strong team leader with 8–10 years in hospitality and 3–5 years in senior finance roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, USALI, hospitality financial reporting, internal controls, and audit practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budget, monthly forecasting, long-range planning, and capital planning processes.
• Oversee finance operations including General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll oversight, and cost controls.
• Ensure timely financial reporting in US GAAP and USALI.
• Present financial results and analyses to ownership, asset managers, and corporate leadership.
• Partner with ownership and departments to drive profitability while maintaining luxury service standards.
