Job summary

Legends Global oversees the financial operations of John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA. The Director of Finance will supervise the Finance Department, ensure accounting integrity, and coordinate with the General Manager and Regional Director of Finance.

The role includes acting as HRBP for venue operations and supporting audit activities. The DOF will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the venue, manage box office accounting, and ensure compliance with laws and corporate

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college/university or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Experience in developing policies and procedures plus financial systems and controls.
• CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal controls and compliance in AP, AR, and Box Office/Ticketing.
• Review and sign off bank and account reconciliations and analyses.
• Create and manage budgeting and forecasting (operating, capital, cash flow).
• Coordinate with outside auditors for annual audit and financial statements.
• Oversee payroll, HR metrics, and benefits records as HRBP.
