Job summary

Legends is seeking a Director of Finance to supervise the finance and accounting functions for John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA. You will lead a small finance team and collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Director of Finance to ensure accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Accounting or Finance, 5–7 years of related experience, CPA preferred, and proven skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a 4-year college/university.
• Minimum 5-7 years of related work experience.
• CPA is preferred; strong internal controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee finance and accounting for John Paul Jones Arena.
• Review bank and account reconciliations; analyze variances.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
• Coordinate show-related settlements, accounting, and event reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and event flash reports.
• Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and financial statements.
