University of California, Davis Library seeks a Director of Finance to lead the library's finance team under the Executive Director for Finance and Administration. The role manages financial resources, long-term planning, and internal controls, and oversees general ledger, purchasing, and travel.

It drives process improvements and trains library staff on new processes. Ideal candidates will have strong GAAP knowledge, leadership experience, and a record of building efficient financial operations

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Five+ years in budgets, accounting, internal controls in multi-fund/public service.
• Experience planning, implementing process improvements and compliance.
• Experience leadership and decision making to solve complex problems.
• Supervision and personnel management experience.
