State of Colorado is seeking a Serve CO Director of Finance to lead budget and financial operations, ensure grant compliance, and guide fiscal strategy in partnership with the Governor’s CFO/Controller. This role oversees audits, subrecipient monitoring, and procurement controls with a focus on equity and accountability.

The position emphasizes strong Excel skills, leadership of the Senior Fiscal Officer, and collaboration with executive teams to support inform strategic decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience supervising staff effectively.
• Experience overseeing federal fiscal funds.
• Grant management experience.
• Ability to drive financial oversight in a public-sector setting.

Responsabilités

• Maintain internal control environment and enforce fiscal policies.
• Develop risk-based subrecipient monitoring plans and ensure compliance.
• Manage all aspects of Serve Colorado finances and annual budget.
• Oversee payroll allocations and financial reporting (FFR, FFATA, SEFA).
• Lead closeout processes for grants and coordinate with program staff.
• Provide supervision to the Senior Fiscal Officer; coach and manage performance.
• Assist with contract templates, grant agreements, and procurement activities.
