Job summary

ELTA North America (ELTA NA) seeks a qualified accounting leader responsible for managing daily accounting activities and leading finance functions in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role supports government-contracting environments and strategic initiatives.

The position requires CPA or advanced degree, extensive Deltek Costpoint experience, and 8–10 years of progressive accounting for a government contractor. Domestic and international travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Advanced degree or CPA is required.
• Deltek Costpoint experience is required.
• 8–10 years progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years' experience with a government contractor.
• Travel: 10–20%, domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Execute ELTA North America strategic plan aligned with objectives.
• Understand manufacturing and accounting/financials to record transactions and report timely.
• Supervise accounting, finance, HR, and payroll including hiring and evaluations.
• Implement Continuous Improvement across the organization.
• Support BD and operations, including potential acquisitions and new products.
• Manage monthly close, journal entries, variance analyses, and monthly reports.
