Job summary

LMG Staffing Solutions in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations, government contract accounting, compliance, and reporting in a manufacturing and distribution environment. This hands-on leadership role requires deep expertise in Costpoint and GAAP, with strong partnerships to executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, manage cost-plus accounting, oversee invoicing through WAWF/IPP/GSA, and prepare monthly statements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Expert-level Deltek Costpoint experience required.
• Extensive experience supporting government contractors.
• Strong knowledge of DCAA, FAR, and cost-plus accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Deltek Costpoint accounting system and project accounting.
• Oversee timesheet processing, labor distribution, and PTO accruals.
• Handle government contract invoicing through WAWF, IPP, GSA.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and executive reports.
• Lead finance process improvements and internal controls.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, DCAA compliance.
