Job summary

LMG Staffing Solutions is seeking a Director of Finance for a federal contractor role based in Fredericksburg, VA. You will oversee all financial operations, government contract accounting, compliance, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has deep Deltek Costpoint experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven leadership in manufacturing/distribution finance. Excellent communication and process-improvement skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CFA, CGFM, or CMA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Expert-level experience with Deltek Costpoint is required.
• Extensive experience supporting government contractors.
• Strong understanding of DCAA compliance, FAR regulations, indirect rate structures, and cost-plus accounting.
• Experience with inventory management, manufacturing, or product distribution finance is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations, government contract accounting, compliance, and reporting.
• Oversee Deltek Costpoint configuration, project accounting, and cost control.
• Manage invoicing through government systems and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, Budgets, and forecasts.
• Support inventory accounting, production reporting, and internal controls.
