Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy for the Engineered Cables division. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and results analysis while partnering with executives to optimize capital allocation and operational performance.

The role demands 12–15+ years in FP&A, manufacturing finance experience, and strong US GAAP controls. On-site, with competitive base pay plus an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate-finance experience, including manufacturing leadership.
• MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-range financial planning, strategic modeling, and capital allocation for Engineered Cables.
• Translate business strategy into financial targets, operating plans, and performance metrics.
• Direct annual plans, monthly forecasts, and multi-year financial models with executive reporting.
• Lead financial partnership with Operations to evaluate productivity, labor efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Oversee capacity expansion, make-versus-buy, global footprint decisions, pricing strategy, and product margins.
• Ensure accurate month-end close and internal controls aligned with US GAAP.
• Manage working capital and ERP implementation and reporting across global sites.
• Build high-caliber talent through coaching, succession planning, and organizational design.
