Job summary

Raleigh Orthopaedic seeks an experienced Director of Finance to provide strategic financial leadership, oversee FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This role partners with executive leadership to support decision-making and drive profitability and growth for the organization.

The Director will lead a growing finance team, ensure GAAP/SEC adherence, manage cash flow, and collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and track KPIs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting required; graduate degree preferred
• Accounting/Financial licenses or certifications required
• Proficiency with FP&A software and advanced spreadsheet skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Adhere to GAAP and SEC rules and regulations
• Lead FP&A including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Manage direct reports and lead a growing finance team
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts
• Oversee accounting functions, including payroll, taxes, compliance, and year-end close
• Develop strategies to increase profitability and financial stability
• Collaborate with executives to develop budgets and track KPIs
• Analyze financial trends and risks related to investments and spending
• Prepare financial information for CPA and Form 5500 reporting
• Assist CEO with special projects and communicate financial status
• Prepare annual benchmarking surveys
