Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college.
• CPA or MBA in Accounting is desired.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, healthcare preferred, with staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Directs the preparation and analysis of internal and external financial statements in conformance with GAAP.
• Manages daily cash management operations and investment oversight.
• Evaluates new or modified accounting systems and develops monthly revenue/expense monitoring tools.
• Directs annual preparation of Medicare, Medicaid and Other payor cost reports.
• Coordinates external reporting to regulatory agencies and reimbursement program analysis.
• Directs policies for accounting for capital expenditures.
• Oversees accounts payable disbursements and payroll processes.
• Reviews activity for accurate reporting and prepares federal/state filings.
• Directs annual audits with external auditors and actuaries.
