Job summary
Fortune Brands Innovations seeks a Director of Finance for Connected Products, based in Deerfield, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, governance and partner with technology, product and commercial teams in a fast-growing hardware-software environment.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of finance leadership, experience in connected products or IoT, and a track record of building scalable financial capabilities while balancing entrepreneurial risk
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
- Experience supporting connected products, consumer technology, IoT, or SaaS businesses.
- Strong business partnership skills with engineering, product, commercial, and executive teams.
- Experience balancing entrepreneurial innovation with public company governance and financial discipline.
- Familiarity with SAP or Oracle EPM is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build the finance infrastructure including planning, forecasting, reporting and governance.
- Partner with Connected Water, Connected Security and Technology leadership to guide investments.
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting while building new capabilities.
- Develop and coach a high-performing finance team.
- Deliver concise financial insights to senior leaders and executives.
