Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, Data Science - Finance Advanced Analytics & Reporting in New Brunswick, NJ. You will design and deliver advanced analytics, financial models, and trusted reporting products across the Global Finance Data Science team.

You will combine finance and ERP expertise with data science, BI, and data engineering to translate complex business questions into scalable, executive-ready insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; Master’s a plus.
• 10+ years in advanced analytics, data science, or data engineering with SAP data.
• Ownership of analytics products from requirements to production.
• Strong analytics foundation: forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, data prep, and productionization.
• Experience with SAP Finance data and reporting (SAP ERP/S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere).
• Familiarity with modern analytics platforms (Power BI, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Ability to design executive-ready dashboards and KPI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into analytical questions and success criteria.
• Decompose finance processes and KPIs to support quantitative analysis.
• Profile and analyze high-volume SAP data using SQL/Python/PySpark.
• Reconcile data to SAP source reports and GL balances; document lineage.
• Apply statistical analysis and forecasting to uncover risks and opportunities.
• Lead rapid POC development from framing to validation with SMEs.
• Convert successful POCs into production-ready solutions with mappings and controls.
• Communicate findings clearly to Finance and Tech stakeholders.
