Job summary

Meta, through its Business Services Finance Data & Analytics group, seeks a Manager to lead the technical layer of the Finance Data Strategy. You will grow a team of data engineers, set platform and governance standards, and present strategy to senior Finance and Engineering leaders.

You will be accountable for real-time delivery and business impact. You will shape governed data foundations for AI tooling, mentor engineers, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver measurable outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years in data engineering, data platform, or data architecture.
• 6+ years of experience directly managing technical teams.
• Experience owning a data platform or governance domain end-to-end at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with modern data stacks: distributed warehouses and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience influencing senior leadership on technical strategy with executives.
• Experience driving cross-functional execution beyond direct reports.
• Ability to communicate delivery progress and business impact to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building governed data foundations for AI/LLM tools.
• Experience hiring and mentoring senior engineers.
