Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Governance Engineer to build and scale governance across infrastructure planning and supply chain data. You will define end-to-end governance, ownership, quality, and controls, enabling high-quality decisions and reliable operations at Meta scale.

You will translate governance needs into technical requirements, operating models, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes, working across data centers, infrastructure, planning, and finance teams to drive adoption and compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in operations research, industrial engineering, supply chain management, systems engineering, technical program leadership, or related field.
• Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to launch across multiple teams.
• 3+ years of experience in coding/scripting languages such as Python, R, Java, C, C++, PHP.
• Experience defining metrics, data quality frameworks, or governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end governance for a major domain of critical infrastructure data, including intake and ownership.
• Develop and analyze manufacturing, logistics, and data to identify governance gaps and data defects.
• Establish operating mechanisms clarifying data ownership, stewardship, and audit trails.
