Job summary

Parafin, Inc. is seeking a Finance Data Lead to join our Finance team. The role sits at the intersection of finance and data engineering, translating raw financial data into clean, trusted outputs and scalable reporting infrastructure.

You will own data workflows end-to-end, build models and dashboards that track origination volumes, revenue run rates, and portfolio performance, and respond to data requests with rigor and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in a data-heavy role (data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar).
• Expert Excel/Google Sheets skills with advanced modeling and analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and independent query optimization on large datasets.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools applied to financial workflows.
• Baseline fluency in corporate finance concepts like EBITDA and working capital.
• Ability to translate data into clear narratives for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own financial data workflows end-to-end from data sourcing to auditable outputs.
• Build and maintain financial models and dashboards tracking key metrics.
• Respond quickly and accurately to ad hoc data requests from Finance, Product, and GTM.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and surface insights.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to ensure data integrity and governance.
• Support external reporting for investors, lenders, and board stakeholders.
