Job summary

Asurion is seeking a hands‑on Director of Product Management to own strategy and roadmaps for the Data Platform. You will oversee ingestion, cataloging, lineage, access governance, and a self‑service analytics layer to turn raw data into a trusted asset. Location: San Mateo, CA or Remote.

Lead a data‑fluent team and partner across engineering, analytics, security, and business stakeholders to shape platform vision and ensure data quality and trust at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with focus on data platform, infrastructure, or analytics products.
• Experience building data platforms and governance models.
• Strong ability to partner with engineering, security, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Platform roadmap from ingestion to self‑service analytics.
• Define onboarding contracts, SLAs, quality checks, and documentation standards.
• Drive self‑service data discovery for analysts and data scientists.
• Partner with engineering on architecture decisions for lakehouse and data warehouses.
• Align stakeholders around a shared data platform vision.
• Hire and lead a high‑performing data‑fluent PM team.
